This RPL certification is proof of the ability of a person to operate dangerous equipment (Mincing Machine) within a food processing environment as required by Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and accompanying Regulations.
This RPL certificate serves as proof that the certified person is trained and fit to operate a mincing machine within a food processing environment. The Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations stipulates that a person operating dangerous equipment must be trained accordingly. This not only protects the machine operator, but also the consumer for potential contamination in the event of an accident as well as the employer who is legally bound to have the necessary certification in place, so as to avoid the legal ramifications of non-compliance. A full explanation is available on request. This certificate is only valid for people with the necessary experience.

A minimum of 6 months as a mincing machine operator within a food processing environment is a prerequisite for this RPL certificate.
