Prof Ryk Lues will introduce you to the food safety culture. He holds The Research Leadership Chair In Food Safety Culture and Sustainability at CUT. he has lectured and moderated widely, both locally and at Michigan State University (USA).
The role and importance of a food safety culture will be covered. Prof Lues will touch on methods to assess the culture, change needed and the barriers to change.
The delegates will start gaining an understanding of the principles of the food safety culture and how these are applied to improve food safety management system. This introductory course will cover the principles of a food safety culture.
No pre-requisites to attend this course.
